hello. All you have to do is create a character for the island. They can be a main character from the show (which i would prefer you chose until all those characters are taken) or an original character, where you can make up a character for the island.

Residence: Before the island, she lived in Miami, but now resides in the Others' Village.

Skills:
[x]Though she is a fertility doctor, she has many of the skills a regular doctor would have.
[x]Intelligence; Juliet is very clever.
[x]Manipulation; she is rather mysterious and good at tricking people and working situations to her advantage.
[x]Self-defense, she's undergone training while on the island, and now isn't exactly helpless when it comes to fighting.

Weaknesses:
[x]Her sister and nephew, she'd do anything for them.
[x]She has a problem trusting people.
[x]Though good at hiding them, her emotions can often be her downfall. She's a lot more compassionate than most Others would be.

Reason for flight: Juliet wasn't on the flight, seeing as she's one of the Others. She was brought to the island by submarine, to help cure the island's problem with pregnant women.

Item from wreckage: Again, she wasn't on the flight. Seeing as she'd thought she'd only be staying on the island for six months, she didn't exactly pack everything she owned when she came. Now the only significant items she has are a few pictures of her and her sister, Rachel, and letters she wrote back to home. Though she never sent these(Ben wouldn't allow it), it was somehow comforting to pretend that Rachel would be reading these letters, and they were a sort fo escape for her.

Info of characters past: Before the island, Juliet lived in Miami. She worked as a fertility doctor under her ex-husband, Edmund at a biological research facility. Her sister, Rachel, was left infertile after cancer treatments, so Juliet was experimenting treatments on her in secret.

She met with Dr. Alpert, a man who worked for Mittelos Bioscience. Dr. Alpert told her that they were impressed with her research, and wanted to recruit her for a medical team that he said resided in Portland. Back then, Juliet was the kind of person who let others walk all over her. So because she knew that her ex-husband would never allow her to leave working for him(unless, she joked bitterly, he was hit by a bus), she refused the offer.

Later, Juliet confided in Rachel about what had happened, only to learn that her research had worked, and that Rachel was pregnant. Happy for her sister and excited at her success, she told Edmund about it. When he wanted to publicize her success and perform further testing on Rachel, Juliet refused. It was while they were arguing that Edmund stepped into the street, calling back angrily to her, and was hit by a bus.

Horrified, Juliet went to the morgue to complete some paperwork for her dead ex-husband. Just as she started to break down, she was visited again by Dr. Alpert and another man, Ethan Rom. They made their offer for Mittelos Bioscience one last time. It was then that Juliet began to grow suspicious, recalling when she had referred to Edmund being hit by a bus in Dr. Alpert's office, but he brushed it off. She hadn't lingered on the subject then, though she should have known something was wrong. And though Dr. Alpert admitted that they the research facility was "not quite in Portland", she agreed to go, with the exception that she'd be back in six months, in time for her sister to give birth to her child.

After saying good-bye to Rachel and promising that she'd be back in six months, Juliet left, still not knowing exactly where they were taking her. For "security" measures, they put tranquilizer in her orange juice, which she drank perhaps a bit too fast.

When she awoke again, Juliet was on the island. It was then that she met Ben Linus, who explained that all of the pregnant women on the island had mysteriously died before they could give birth. Though Juliet tried hard to find a cure to this problem, six months later she was no closer. Finally, she told Ben that there was nothing more she could do unless she could take a woman off the island and continue her research then. But Ben refused, and also said that if Juliet returned home, she'd find that Rachel's cancer had come back. If she stayed on the island, then Jacob himself would cure it.

This was why Juliet was forced to reluctantly stay on the island for three more years, during which she became involved in a romantic relationship with Goodwin(which would later end, inevitabley, when Anna Lucia killed him). Ben had been complaining of back pains, and when she looked at his x-rays, she discovered a tumor. She confronted Ben angrily, demanding to know that if he could cure cancer, then why did he have it. Calling him a liar, she furiously accused him that Rachel was dead, later breaking down in tears when Ben denied this.

Over her time on the island, Juliet's personality switched from the timid woman she had been in Miami, to a cold, reserved woman who trusted no one. She became very manipulative over her time with the Others.

Reason for flight: Kate had been caught by Federal Marshall in Australia and was being transported back the United States under guard to answer for her crimes.

Item from wreckage: Toy Airplane that has a strong connection to her childhood love

Info of characters past:

Katherine Austen was born in Iowa and was the daughter of diner worker Diana and soldier Sam. As a child, she was taught how to track deer in the wild, her father’s teachings and along with her childhood friend buried a time capsule under a tree. Her parent’s got divorced and Diana married again, this time an alcoholic called Wayne who often abused her. When she became an adult, Kate took out an Insurance Policy for her mother’s house and set the trap for Wayne, helping him into bed after one of his nights of drinking. She then left him in the house and watched it blow up with him inside. Kate mistakenly tells her mother thinking she would be pleased to be rid of the drunk but instead her own mother calls the authorities and Kate is arrested at the bus station.

She manages to escape custody with the help of a black horse and goes on the run after speaking with Sam, who she thought was her biological father. In fact it was Wayne who was her biological father so that made things worst. Kate tries to see her mother again but is warned not to come near her again so with nothing else to keep her in town, Kate runs to Miami and starts a new life or tries to. She dates a police officer for a while then confesses her past as a fugitive, making sure he would forget about it after by spiking his drink. Kate left and traveled the country for a while before she heard about her mother dying of Cancer so she looks up her childhood love Tom and gets him to help get her in to see her in hospital. She sees her mother and apologizes for what she did only for her mother to stay true to her word and start yelling for help. Tom and Kate flee the hospital where a policeman opens fire and kills Tom. Kate causes another death and has to go on the run again, leaving behind a toy airplane that belonged to Tom.

Kate later learns that the airplane is being stored in a deposit box in a bank in New Mexico. Under the name of Maggie Ryan, Kate stages a bank robbery; posing as a photographer looking for a loan. She is caught up in the robbery as a hostage. One of the robbers was romantically involved with Kate so it made persuading them to do it was easy for her. Her part in the robbery was exposed and Kate was forced to shoot one of her men in the leg, stopping him from shooting the manager. She gains access to the airplane and flees to Australia.

In Australia, Kate poses as a Canadian hiker called Annie when she is discovered sleeping in a barn on a farm. The farmer questions her and offers her a job where she takes and does for around three months. She tries to steel from him but is caught and is offered a ride to the next town the next day. Kate is informed on the ride the next day that the farmer was turning her in to Edward Mars, the Federal Marshall after her. She forces the vehicle of the road and has the chance to escape but decides to save the farmers life from the crash only to cost herself freedom.

At the airport, Edwards explains to the security officer about Kate's past as a fugitive, and that he is carrying a case containing five guns. Boarding the plane, Kate is handcuffed and seated next to Mars, near to the tail section.

Reason for flight: Desmond wasn't on the flight. He was on a sailing race around the world, in order to prove himself to Charles Widmore, and got caught in a storm. He washed up on the island, where Kelvin found him and brought him to the Hatch.

Item from wreckage: Desmond wasn't on the plane, but the only two items that he kept from his ship was a photograph of himself and Penny, and the book, Our Mutual Friend. However, after the hatch imploded, the photograph was all he had left.

Info of characters past: Desmond started to attend university, but had to drop out to take care of his brothers when his father left. During that time, he worked as a set designer for the Royal Shakespeare Company. He became engaged to a woman named Ruth, who he had been seeing for six years. A week before the wedding though, he got cold feet and passed out from binge-drinking. When he awoke, he saw a monk, and was convinced his higher calling was to be one as well, so he joined the monastery.

After being attacked by Ruth's brother, Desmond started drinking again, and was dismissed from the monastery. Brother Campbell suggested for him to catch a ride into town with Penny (who was picking up wine from them).

Two years after that, Desmond and Penny moved in together. Desmond asked Charles Widmore for Penny's hand in marriage, but was told he wasn't good enough for her. Desmond realised that was true when he couldn't afford to buy a photograph (the photograph that he later has on the island).

He ended up breaking up with her, and joining the army to prove himself to Mr. Widmore. However, he was dishonourably dismissed for refusing to follow orders, and was jailed.

After finishing his sentence, Desmond started training for a sailing race around the world, sponsored by Mr. Widmore. It was another attempt to prove himself. In the midst of the race, a storm hit and Desmond woke up later, washed up on the shore of the island.

Kelvin found him and brough him down to the hatch. Desmond was in the hatch for three years, pushing buttons, until the Oceanic Flight 815 survivors blasted the hatch door off and discovered Desmond.

Skills: errrr, can play guitar kind of, artistic, knows a bit of french :) kinda smart but then again kinda dumb at times ¬¬ Can make people laugh ^_^ Omg, what skills do i have? -_- If you know me and can think of any lemmie know LOL.

Weaknesses: confidence, maths hahaha -_-, thinking quickly, sensitive, maybe too emotional..

Reason for flight: Was in America to visit some family (imaginary aunt and uncle that doesnt really live there, lol..) then heading to Australia to visit some friends I met online and have known for more then a year.. :P Sister would have come with me but didnt want to and brother was supposed to come but he had a work thing at the last minute so got my mum to let me go alone.

Item from wreckage: usual stuff (clothes, bathroom stuff, make up) but also laptop nicked from sister. Also tonnes of other stuff seeing as i usually stuff everything in my bag ^_^

Info of characters past: Not much of an exciting life really...had problems with brother being ill so had some dramas there =s lol Became an absolute nutter around age 12. Had quite a few friends but lost most of them when I moved and lost touch...I visit my 2 bestest friends in England once or twice a year. Moved at the end of year 7 :'( Started at a new school which I decided I would hate forever and that the people there suck! Started slowly making friends, worked hard to gain some confidence back as it went to zilch due to moving..Became online addict, met first boyfriend on a website in year 9. Gained confidence, made lots more friends. Been with boyfriend nearly 9 months, been to see him.. Started year 10, been a little depressed..Have exams soon -_- Loves friends to bits ♥

Weaknesses/bad habits: With a busy 'work' life, Maxine's personal life is stressed and void, and she has had various bad experiences with men that have left her as a strong feminist. She is also not good at letting go of power and doesn't shy away from conflict.

Skills: As an airline stewardess, Roxanne developed the skills to handle conflict, deal with difficult people, and difficult situations, including turbulence on planes etc. She certainly knows about the plane and about its features and flaws.

Weaknesses/bad habits: Roxanne’s friendly attitude hides her tough interior, which she lets out when she is very angry. Sometimes, she can look over the best course of action in order to prevent hurt feelings.

Frequent moods/expressions: She is diplomatic and poised, always prepared for problems. She is also friendly and helps people who are scared (as often occurs when flying). She is also able to be led and will follow directions easily.

Reason for flight: Working on the flight (going home).

Info of characters past:Rose was born in Bathgate, Scotland, due tot he fact that her father is Scottish but her parents soon moved back to Brighton, where Rose went to school. Her childhood was mostly unremarkable, she aspired to be a rebel, as most teenagers did, she was more of an indie kid who went on daily rants about how anything mainstream was rubbish. The typical teenage days.

When she went to university in Manchester, a lot of things changed. The first being the she was completely free of her parents' influence. Her parents had been the sorts who moved about in high society, went to posh dinners and such. To Rose, all that was a little annoying, in a strange way she longed for more and moving away gave her that. She'd learnt to fence ever since she was about eleven and was proficient when it came to sailing.

She did a year of photojournalism and travelled as much as she could, from war zones to flooded, hurricane affected or earthquake affected areas. While in Afghanistan, she met an English soldier, Terry. They became friends quickly and very soon more than that. The year that she spent there went more quickly than it should have and events progressed so quickly that Terry and Rose became engaged. She always feared for Terry's safety but knew there was nothing she could do about it and also that she wasn't particularly safe either. As fate would have it, Terry did get shot and his comrades were unable to save him. Rose transferred out of the country as soon as she could and went to Kenya instead.

Since the incident with Terry, Rose made it a point not to stay too long, not to get attached. Although tough on the outside, she isn't really all that tough if something gets to her emotionally.

Reason for flight: Charlie was in Sydney trying to convince his brother Liam to get back together with the band. When Liam refused Charlie left angry to board the plane to L.A.

Item from wreckage: Guitar, band ring & small stash of heroin

Info of characters past: Charlie was the younger of two siblings, having an older brother, Liam. As a child, music was a heavy influence on his life, and his mother bought him a piano for Christmas one year. Charlie also learned to swim from a young age; though he was reluctant to enter the water at first, he eventually jumped in with a little coaxing from his father. Charlie and Liam formed the band, DriveSHAFT, with Charlie playing bass. At first, the band failed to hit it off, but eventually Liam confronts Charlie with the good news that they have landed a record deal. They released a single, "You All, Everybody," which became the band's most renowned song. Charlies' confrontations with Liam, concerning the band, were the catalyst for his heroin abuse.

During their second tour of Finland, Liam gave Charlie his ring, a family heirloom handed down to every first-born. At first; Charlie refuses to take it, but reluctantly agrees to keep hold of it. While touring, Charlie scolded Liam for his controlling behavior and for being self-destructive with his heroin addiction, and told him to cancel the rest of the tour. Liam, who had previously told Charlie that he was the most important person in the band, bitterly responded by snapping that "he" was the band and that no one knew who the bassist was. Sinking into a state of depression, Charlie resorted to Liam's heroin stash, becoming addicted himself. After the birth of his niece, Charlie visited the new-born, but Liam remained at home. Eventually the band's fame began to fade, and they resorted to appearing in a diaper commercial. However, after Liam's behavior got them fired, Charlie began working on a new comeback song. Charlie came back to his apartment and was shocked to learn that Liam had sold his piano in order to enroll in a rehab clinic in Sydney. After Liam dropped his own daughter, his girlfriend fled to Australia.

With Liam and the band gone, Charlie resorted to theft to support his heroin addiction. He charmed a wealthy woman, Lucy, in order to rob her, but soon developed feelings for her, and decided to work for her father instead. However, his plan fell through, and Lucy left him upon learning of his original intentions. Later, Charlie learned of an opportunity for DriveSHAFT to embark on an eight-week tour, supporting another band, and traveled to Sydney. He begged Liam to rejoin the band, but walked away when Liam declined. On the morning of the flight, Charlie woke up in bed at a hotel with another woman and frantically searched for his heroin stash; after a struggle, he managed to walk away with it. He made his way to the airport after being temporarily hindered by Hurley. Once on board the plane, Charlie started suffering from withdrawal symptoms, attracting the unwanted attention of the flight attendants. Charlie raced to the front of the plane, pushing past Jack, Rose, Boone and Shannon, and hid in the forward restroom in order to avoid being caught. Just as he attempted to flush his stash, the plane hit heavy turbulance, and Charlie took cover in an empty nearby seat.

Hi I just randomly found this forum whilst looking for somethin' to do lol. I'm a huge LOST fan and this rpg thing you've got goin' on seems pretty cool. I've written in a couple of Battle Royale rpg's before but that's it...

...anyway, anyone care to fill me in on how this rpg is gonna' work? I wouldn't mind signin' up a character
