Jack woke up, he was staring up at the sky and he was surrounded by bamboo trees, he heard a noise to his left so he moved his head quickly towards the sound, just then a labrador came walking through the jungle, this was odd Jack thought but before he could say or do anything the dog ran off through the forest again.
Jack got up and saw he was wounded badly, but he didn't care he stood up and ran through the trees (passing a shoe) until he reached a beach, it seemed calm and peaceful, then he heard a scream, he ran past a branch and stood there speechless as he saw the wreckage of flight 815 lying on the beach with people running to and fro, he headed through the wreckage and saw a young girl in her mid teens lying on a sheet of metal.
Jack ran to her to see if she was hurt, "Are you okay?" Jack asked the girl over the noise of fire,engines and screams.

When I opened my eyes I had no idea where I was. I felt like I had just spent a whole night with no sleep and had to get up really early. What the hell had happened?
I slowly sat up and felt a nasty pain in my limbs and head. I felt my head where it hurt and removed it to find blood. Shocked at this and starting to panic I quickly lowered my hand and tried to move backwards only to find that my leg wouldn't move. It was stuck under something. Panicking even more and wondering whether my leg was seriously hurt as I could not yet feel any pain in my leg, I shut my eyes and let out a small cry.
Why was my leg numb?! Was it shock?! Was something very wrong with it?! I really wished I was back at home and safe. It was only at this point I realised what had happened. The plane had crashed. The fricken plane had crashed!!! WHY ME?! I had been too busy worrying about myself that I totally forgot I had been on a plane. Oh, shit. What was I gonna do?! What about everyone else?!
Before I could properly figure everything out I heard a voice behind me.
"Are you okay?"
I turned around to see a man behind me. I looked at him but couldn't reply. Instead I let out another little cry, put my hand to the wound on my head again and looked at my leg worriedly.
"M...my leg." I managed to say, trying not to seem like a total baby. I took a deep breath and tried not to have a panic attack but my heart was beating at was seemed like 100mph...

Jack looked down at the girls leg and saw it was trapped under a piece of wreckage, he looked around for someone to help but everyone was running and screaming, not paying attention at all, Jack knew he had to do this on his own he turned back to the girl.
"I'm gonna lift up this wreckage and when i do pull your leg out as fast as you can, if you can't move your leg just crawl backwards" Jack wondered whether the girl had enough strength to do this but decided it was this or nothing.
"Are you ready?" Jack asked "do you understand what to do?" Jack knew he sounded degrading to her but this wasn't the time to think of that kind of stuff.

I listened to the man as carefully as I could even though I just felt like screaming and running away (which was hard with the leg). I nodded and closed my eyes trying to concentrate on my own breathing and not the chaos around me. I was actually very scared. I hadnt been on a plane since I was 3 and now this had happened!? I waited for the man to lift the wreckage so I could try and shuffle backwards.

Jack watched the girl close her eyes and took that as meaning she was ready, "one, two, three" Jack counted to himself he then brought up all his strength and lifted the piece of wreckage which was heavier than it looked.
Jack's eyes were closed with the strain of holding the wreckage up he shouted to the girl " CRAWL OUT, NOW NOW NOW!"

I saw that he had lifted the piece of metal off my leg and, quite frightened he might drop it back onto my leg if he couldn't keep it up, I shuffled backwards as quickly as I could, using my arms as best I could to shift my whole body.
When I was far back enough an outrageous pain came from my leg. I yelled in pain and shut my eyes. I couldn't look. Please don't be seriously bad. I had never been so fond of my legs in all my life.

Jack couldn't hold it anymore, he dropped it and hoped to god that the girl had left the vicinity of it, he opened his eyes and saw that she still had her eyes closed and was yelling in pain, Jack jumped over the wreckage towards her, he saw blood pouring out of her left leg, he rolled her trousers up to the knee and saw the wound.
Jack stared at the leg wound thinking of how to treat it, he saw a tie lying near bye so grabbed it and tied it just above the wound, he then picked her up and carried her over to the edge of the jungle and saw a bag lying near one of the plane's engines, he searched through it and found a sewing kit, he ran back to the girl and pulled out a small bottle of whisky he had been handed moments before the plane crashed.
"Brace yourself" Jack warned the girl as he poured half the bottle onto her wound and the other half onto his hands, he decided to get her mind off the pain that she was about to feel, "what's your name?" Jack asked the girl

(omfg dumb computer freezing half way through post  I can't remember what I put!!  )
I gritted my teeth and screwed my face up to try not to scream in pain but it wasn't working. I risked a glance at my leg but all I saw was blood so I let out a gasp and turned away again. Before I knew what was happening the man had rolled up my trousers and put a tie around my wound. He then lifted me up and suddenly I was away from the wreckage and was sitting in sand. It was all so hazy. All I could focus on was how much this hurt and how scared I was.
Next, the man had a sewing kit and put some whiskey on my leg. I gulped. I think I knew what was coming next and I wasnt looking forward to it...

I wasn't taking in what he was saying. I just stared at my leg, which was covered in blood and was about to have a needle stabbed into it. I tore my eyes away to look at the man.
"I.." My voice was faint so I coughed. "I'm...N..Natalie." I told him, feeling shaken up.

Jack began sewing the wound up and barely heard the girl mention her name "Natalie?" Jack said focused on the seing of her wound "Im Jack, do you know where your parents are Natalie?" Jack said halfway through the stiching, behind him a ear piercing scream took place but he didn't want to know wo had caused it, as he was trying to concentrate on Natalie.

I was trying hard not to look at my leg and ignore what I was feeling. I just wanted to go home. Home. Home. Home. Aghh, why me?! I winced as he focused on sewing up my leg and he asked me a question.
"They aren't here." I managed to say. Oh, how I wished they were here now. "I c..came on my own."
She heard a scream and closed her eyes again, trying to steady her heartbeat and breathe properly.

Jack finished the stitching and looked Natalie "oh, well stay here, i've finished the stitching but you should keep off it for a while, ok?" Jack looked around "i'll be back soon" and with that Jack sprinted towards a pregnant woman near the fusealoge

I looked up and watched the man go. I only just remembered that he told me his name was Jack .I hadn't even thanked him...
I looked at the stitches- still pretty bloody. I felt my sore head and looked out towards the carnage and chaos and let a single tear that had been waiting to escape for a long time roll down my face.
"....Jesus." I whispered.
